Expectations

The following are expectations of all AirBridge Employees:
Employees will show up to work ready to work (showing up and then eating something does not constitute being ready to work).
Employees will be proactive in getting their tasks completed for the day.
If an employee has nothing on their schedule, or has nothing to do, it is their responsibility to ask their manager or other designated person if there is something that needs to be done.
All employees are expected to be able to do all tasks.  Just because a task is not in one’s job description is NOT an excuse to not do a job.  We are a small team and one of our competitive advantages is our ability to keep our employee count down.
If nothing is going on, and all tasks are complete, expanding one’s knowledge base / learning new skills is an acceptable use of one’s time.
Employees will be proactive in sharing knowledge with all other employees.  It is critical that we have multiple employees capable of doing any one task (siloing knowledge or withholding knowledge or skills from others will not be tolerated).
If an employee has a conflict with another employee, he or she is expected to address this concern quickly with his or her direct manager / operations manager.
If an employee has a conflict with another employee, he or she may be expected to communicate these concerns directly with the person with whom he or she is having an issue with.  Having healthy communication can go a long way in ensuring smooth operations.
Employees are expected to dress appropriately for their respective jobs (office, field, etc).  Inappropriate dress (dirty, unkempt, or ragged clothing … or revealing clothing will not be tolerated).  Our appearance to both our customers and our prospective customers is of critical importance.
Employees are expected to clean up after themselves.  Your mother does not work here.  You are responsible to clean up your own messes (food, trash, etc).
Employees are expected to take ownership when mistakes arise, and to NOT pass the buck or blame someone or something else.
Employees are expected to use appropriate language at all times.
Swearing, using the F-word, or other inappropriate language should never be used in the office, or in the field where other employees or the general public can hear them (you never know who might be listening, and who might be offended).
Employees will never put off until tomorrow what can be done today!
