We understand that you need time to rest and enjoy yourself outside of work and may have times when you need to be off for an appointment or because you or a family member is ill.
All full-time and part-time non-exempt employees are eligible to receive the following time off. Seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible to accrue PTO or paid holiday.
This PTO allowance combines vacation, sick, and personal time into one bank that can be used for any reason.
You will accrue PTO in hourly increments based on your length of service as defined below.
- You will accrue PTO at a rate of .0193 per hour paid from your date of hire to your 1st anniversary, up to 5 days (40 hours). After you have completed 120 days of employment, you will receive an additional one-time accrual of 40 hours, resulting in a total of 10 days (80 hours) PTO in your first year.
- At a rate of .0462 hours per hour paid from your 1st anniversary to your 2nd anniversary, up to 12 days (96 hours).
- At a rate of .05 hours per hour paid from your 2nd anniversary to your 3rd anniversary, up to 13 days (104 hours).

- At a rate of .0770 hours per hour paid from your 9th anniversary and beyond, up to 20 days (160 hours).
PTO hours are added to your PTO bank when your paycheck is issued. You can view your PTO balance in your Helpside Tools account.
You may carry forward unused PTO at the end of each anniversary year. Your PTO bank will not exceed 200 hours. When you accumulate 200 hours of PTO, you will cease accruing until your total accumulation of unused PTO is less than 200 hours.
PTO is not earned on unpaid leave, short- or long-term disability leave, or workers’ compensation leave.
Time that is not covered by the PTO policy, and for which separate guidelines and policies exist, include company paid holidays, required jury duty, military service leave, bereavement, marriage leave, and parental leave.
You may use time from your PTO bank in full-hour increments. To take PTO, please submit your request in Helpside’s WorkForceHub website/app. A minimum of 14 days notice is required, except in rare cases such as an emergency or sudden illness. Requests for leave should not be submitted more than 180 days in advance. Requests for leave that are submitted less than 14 days in advance or that interfere with business needs may be denied. We may require documentation to verify the need for emergency leave, during your leave or upon your return. Time off during holiday weeks must be coordinated with the manager.
PTO greater than 5 days (40 hours) in a rolling 4-week period must be pre-approved by your supervisor.
If you are sick or injured and unable to work (for whatever reason), you can use your PTO. If you have no PTO remaining, AirBridge will find a productive task that you can perform at an AirBridge office in order to continue getting paid.
Employees who change status from full/part-time to seasonal/temporary, are no longer eligible to accrue PTO. Any accrued, unused PTO will be forfeited, however, if you return to full/part-time status any unused hours will be reinstated. Employees who change status from seasonal/temporary to full/part-time will become eligible for PTO accrual rates based on their original hire date.
For full-time employees, the following holidays are recognized by the Company as paid holidays (8 hours) when they fall inside your regular work schedule.
If you are required to work on a designated holiday, you will receive pay at time and a half as well as an equivalent number of hours added to a Floating Holiday bucket that can be used for future time off.
AirBridge recognizes that holiday weeks are busy times for their employees and would like to offer additional floating holiday, up to 32 hours, for working your 8-hour shifts during the following designated holiday weeks.
Additional Floating Holidays are earned according to the following schedule:
- 1 day (8 hours) Floating Holiday for working an 8-hour shift every day (including the Friday following Thanksgiving), except for Thanksgiving Day, during the week of Thanksgiving.
- 1 day (8 hours) Floating Holiday for working an 8-hour shift every day, except for Christmas Eve (if it falls in the same week as Christmas) and Christmas Day, during the week of Christmas.
- 1 day (8 hours) Floating Holiday for working an 8-hour shifts each day except for New Year’s Eve (if it falls in the same week as New Year’s Day) and New Year’s Day, during the week of New Year’s Day.
- 1 day (8 hours) Floating Holiday for working all three holiday weeks in full.
By January 20th of each year, the operations manager will review each employee’s timecard during the designated holiday weeks and will add the additional Floating Holiday hours earned.
AirBridge will give all employees additional Floating Holiday hours when the following takes place:
- Each time a multiple of 200 customers is reached (e.g. 7000, 7200, 7400 customers), employees will receive an additional day (8 hours) of PTO add to their PTO bucket.
You may carry forward unused Floating Holiday hours at the end of each anniversary year. Your Floating Holiday bank will not exceed 48 hours. When you accumulate 48 hours of Floating Holiday, you will cease accruing until your total accumulation is less than 48 hours.
Upon separation of employment, unused PTO and Floating Holiday are lost and will not be paid out. PTO and Floating Holiday are not transferable at the time of termination.
